TEMUKA STOCK SALE. The usual fortnightly sale was held at Temuka yards yesterday. The yarding was much larger than has been experienced for some considerable time, some 900 sheep being offered. Fat lambs were not competed for so keenly as of late, but this was partly accounted for by the drafting nob being quite to the lilting of the buyers; other fats (wethers and ewes) sold up to late rates. Store shecj> of all descriptions met with a fair enquiry. CHRISTCHUECH MARKETS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 1. There is still a fair amount of business doing in milling wheat, bufc prices are easier all round. Sound fair average quality wheat only is in demand, and anything that shows signs of weather is neglected and can only be sold for fowl feed. Among the sales durinc the last few days wore 500 sacks of Tuscan at 3s Sd, GOO at 3s 7d, 900 at 3s 6d, 515 of Hunters at 3s 7d, 690 of Pearl at 3s 7d and 300 of weathered at 3s 3d at country stations. There is rather more business doing in oats and prices generally range from Is 6d to Is 9d at country stations. Tlie sales reported include 2000 bushels of Storm Kings at Is B.)d. 1200 bushels of Duns at Is 6d, 1300 bushels of B grade Gartons at Is 83d at country stations.
