THE CITY RIFLES. The Timaru City Rifles fired last Monday evening at 200 yards for trophies presented by Messrs H. Marriott aud the Timaru Post Company. The following are the highest scores:—

Roache, secretary of the Dominion Rifle Association, had received up to Monday, 450 entries for the forthcoming championship meeting ro be held at Trentham next month, -He expects, the (e N.Z.
