AND FERRY SERVICE. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Nov. 13. The suggestion of the-Prime Minister to establish a. State-owned ferry service between Wellington and Lyttelton was discussed at a meeting of the Minrlborough Chamber* of Commerce last night and the following vpsolution was paFtoed:—"That this Chamber views with alarm the suggestion to establish n State-owned ferry service between Wellington and T<yttelton and the consequent postponement of the South Island main trunk line, the progress of which Las been so slow, and desires to impress on the Government the necessity for the early completion of the: line in the interest of the district and of the dominion generally. The Chamber urges that a substantial sum be placed on the Estimates for the ate extension sf the railway,* l
