She should sail early on Monday morning for Lyttelton. The s.s. Koromiko sailed from Lyttelton last evening and should arrive at Timartt early this morning. She lands 500 tons of coal on account of the N.M. and A. Company, the Westport Coal Company, and T. Brown and Company, Ltd., also a quantity of timber and manure. The steamer Breeze, which lias just left England, for New Zealand, is the new vessel which has been built for the Canterbury Steam Shipping Company, Limited, owners of the well-known steamers Ripple and Storm. The Breez is said to be a very handy cargo steamer of 720 tons dead weight capacity, and is fitted with large hatches and all the latest appliances for rapid handling of cargo. Her principal dimensions are:—Length 167 ft. beam 36/ffc, depth of hold lift. She is fitted with electric light throughout, and has a sneed of about 9 knots when fully loaded. The Breeze is coming out from England via the Cape of Good Hope, and her owners expect her to reach Lyttelton about February Ist.
