CORPSES WASHED ASHORE.* Pres-s Association-By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, Oct. 28. Two of the Hestia's boats have been washed ashore. The boats contained four corpses. The rescue of the remaining thirty-four people is considered hopeless. COLLISION AND LOSS OF LIFE. BUDA PEST,-Oct. 28. The Russian mail steamer Rnsso collided with a- Roumanian vessel near. Galatii, a Roumanian port - on the Danube. The latter sank and the'crew of twenty-one were drowned. BUNKERS ON FIRE. PERTH, Oct. 29. Three outbreaks of fire occurred in the coal bunkers of the steamer Itonus. The cause of the fire is supnoscd to be spontaneous combustion. The damage was not serious.
