This got abroad too, and the managers of the .Military Carnival, recognising the importance ot the opera as a counter attraction, requested that any extra wrformance be deferred. The Opera Company have agreed to accede to both requests: will give an extra performance that will not clash with the Carnival. The date has not .been fixed, but it ,niust be early, to ensure the presence of all the principals engaged in its production.
