So great has liec-n the success ot tlic opera, so highly has it been spoke.. of by those who have witn.-ssctl Us production, that the managing committee have been . approached with a request oil behalf of many woiiI«!-Ik» patrons to give "The Pirates ' once more—to-night. This got abroad too, and the managers of the .Military Carnival, recognising the importance ot the opera as a counter attraction, requested that any extra wrformance be deferred. The Opera Company have agreed to accede to both requests: will give an extra performance that will not clash with the Carnival. The date has not .been fixed, but it ,niust be early, to ensure the presence of all the principals engaged in its production.
