Subject to the necessary alterations, mails will close as under: — For Northern ports of New Zealand, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 12.50 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 3.30 p.m. For Temuka—6 a.m., 12-50 p.m., and 5.30 p.m. For Geraldine—6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 4 p.m. For Ashburton and Christen urch—--6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 3.30 p.m. For Oamaru and Waimate—6 a.m., 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Dunedin—lo.3o a.m., and 3 p.m. For Fairlie, Albury, and Pleasant Point—3.ls p.m daily, and on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 6 a an. Gisborne correspondence on Thursdays (to make close connection with Friday's steamer from Napier) requires to be posted not later than 12.50 p.m. Saturday, 30th. Oct. For the Australian States and South Africa, at 3 p.m. Wednesday. November 3rd. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Monte Video, and Teneriffe, per Tainui, at 12.50 p.m., specially addressed correspondence only. Due London, December 16th. Thursday, Nor. 4th.
