FINLAND is a brown horse, showing great power and quality, and Las proved himself a successful sire, as well as a great racehorse. He won amongst other races the V.R.C. St. Leger, Maribyrnong Plate, Sires Produce Stakes, Goodwood Handicap, etc., and was second in the Ascot Vale Stakes, Caulfield Guineas, and Caulfield Futurity Stakes. In the season just closed Finland was ninth in the list of winning sires with a total of £4853.
