A GLEN-ITI BENEFIT CONCERT.
To the Editor of the "Timaru Herald." Sir,—Some weeks ago a benefit concert was advertised m your paper on behalf of my wife and children, and no doubt the numerous subscribers suppose she has got the benefit from it. the secretary and treasurer have told me they have not any funds in hand, I just wish to let the subscribers know that neither Airs. Baker, the children, or myself have received one penny from the proceeds of a social which was supposed to have been got up for us. Thanking you in anticipation.—l am, etc., A A. BAKER.
