THE LABOUR. PARLIAMENT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Oct. 27. The Trades and Labour Conference instructed the incoming executive to prepare a scheme for the appointment of an organiser to urge the acceptance of a scheme of labour federation. The Conference spent a. considerable time in discussing the question of definite action to secure tha return of Labour Members to Parliament, and the matter comes up again to-morrow. "MADE IN NEW ZEALAND." WELLINGTON, Oct. 27. A deputation, representing several trades anions and supported by a number of Members of Parliament, waited on the Minister of Labour to-night, urging him to introduce/ legislation insisting that all articles made in New Zealand should be plainly branded as such, a nenalty to be imposed on anyone affixing the "N.Z." stamp, to goods from other countries. The. Minister gave a sympathetic reply, and said he would bring the matter before his colleagues, and if possible would endeavour" to make the proposed amendment when alterations to the Factories Act were being considered.
