Edmund Charles YVoolfeiiden, a young unmarried man, dropped dead to-day in a fishing hut while with a party at Katarawa stream, nine miles from Paluierston. He was a wellknown resident. THE EXPRESS FATALITY. CHRISTCHURCTJ, Oct. 23. The inquest touching the death of Delia Sommerfield, who fell off the second express for the south on Friday near Templeton, Mas held by Mr Bailey, coroner, at the morgue this morning. A verdict was returned —"That the deceased was killed by accidentally falling off a train." The coroner expressed sympathy with deceased's husband and children.
