MONTHLY MEETING. " The montby meeting of the Geraldine County Council was held yesterday. Present Messrs G. J. l7enni.sun.ii (chairman), B. R. Macdonakl, A. Kelman, A. Metealf, \Y. Dixon, and G. W. Armitagft. Mr J. I . Hoileston, for the Rangi-tata-Orari Water Supply Committee, reported that everything was going on smoothly and Mr W. Hide on behalf of the Waitohi Water Race Committeereported that the races were all well supplied. Accounts amounting to £8 for rangers' wages and extra labour, had been passed " for payment.—Approved. The Clerk of Works (Mr P. Billings) reported in detail on works in hand. The Geraldine Road Board advised haying spent £l3O altogether in buying birds' heads —£60 of it being the Road Boards funds, whicli would require to be refunded to them- If the Board were to continue to buv eggs and heads they would require a cheque for £2O to carry on until next meeting. — The Temuka Road Board advised that they would want £SO for the same purpose. Last week they bad paid out £l3 2s 9d for heads and eggs. Up to the present this season, the total sum expended, was £lO2 16s Id.
