A REPORT CONFIRMED. FIRE AND EXPLOSION. Press Association-By LONDON, Sept. 24. In response to special enquiry, Lloyd's agent at Manila telegraphs confirming the Harlow's report, and adds that the steamer Harlow sighted a .smoking vessel at 7.3(1 in the evening. An explosion occurred at S o'clock. Tli!> -'"stance was too great to ascertain the ship's identity. The position of the wreck was latitude 31.38 south, longitude 29.15 east. Lund's stale that the Clan Maeintyrc reported sighting the- Waratsih at !.'.30 on the morning of July 27th, in an approximate position of latitude 32.17 south, longitude 20.17 east, about 51 miles ahead of ibo wreck reported by the Harlow. The ca]>tain of the Harlow suggests that the bottom of the sea he swept.
