Jura, s.s., next month. The Athenic arrived at Plymouth on Wednesday last-, after a passage of 41 days from Wellington. The Ruapehu (N.Z.S. Co.) is due to arrive aft Wellington to-day, and after discharging there and at Lyttelton will load at Dominion ports, including Timaru,! .and sails finally from V ellington on October 21st. Repairs and renovations, including a fore topmast and new topmast yard, are being fitted to the TT.S.S. Co.'s training ship Dartford in Wellington, on completion of which she will come to Lyttelton, discharge coal and take on a fresh detachment of cadets. The sji. Pukaki arrived at 9 p.m. last night from Dunedin. with 546 tons of cargo, of which. 400 tons were transhipments from the Aparima- from Calcutta. Included in the aboVe were 3500 bags of manure. It is expected that the vessel will sail some time this evening. The steamer Jura, is due at Lyttelton at any time-now, from Japan, with a cargo of 5000 tons of superphosphates and sulphur, under charter to Mr A. H. Hasell, of Melbourne. Part of her cargo will be landed at Lyttelton, but her other ports are not yet definitely announced. They will probably include Timaru, Napier, and Auckland. The Wairuna arrived at Wellington on Wednesday night with a cargo of coal from Newcastle, and is expected to arrive at Lyttelton on Sunday. After landing part cargo ' here, the steamer leaves at the latter end or next week for Timaru and Oamaru. She will land 400 tons of Pelawmain. 237 tons Aberdare, a quantity of Abermain and about 8 tons of timber at this port. (By Cable.) NEWCASTLE. Sept. 24. "Arrived—TTmata frtm Wellington.
