SUPREME COURT.
Per Tress Association. GISBORNE, Sept. 24. At the Supreme Court to-day the case in which Mr and Mrs Wilson, nee Miss Harding, sued the trustees of the late J. A. Harding for specific performance, was decided in favour of the plaintiffs. Mr Justice Cooper accepted the view that deceased's intention was that they should own the house Mr Hordincr "built for them as a wedding gift, and His Honour therefore directed accordingly. . CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 24. Mr Justice Sim delivered judgment this morning in the case of M. Barnett. proprietor of "Daylight," who aopef.led against the decision of Mr Haseklen, S.M.. for fining him £2O for"the publication of betting odds on the New Zealand Cup. The appeal was upheld with costs.
