• > ItUBBLSH ABLAZE. 1 Ail alarm of fire was sounded at 10. 80 on Thursday and the Teniuk-i Brigade was called to an outbreak at the'rear Of Mr Head's fruit shop in King street, where it was found that sonio packing ind light material. at the rear of the shop had become ignited I . A bucket. Jirigado under Constable- Gillespie was fcoon at work, and the flames were extinguished. The premises which are owned by Mr J. M. Martin, are injured in tho State Office, and >he damage is estimated at about £ls. Captain Henry of the Brigade met with, an accident during the operations of extinguishing the fire, being -infortunato enough to receive a gasli on tho forehead from a hatchet. His injury wa<? attended to by Dr Itugg.
