SCHEDULE OF PRIZES. The Timaru' A. and P. Association, determined to keep abreast of tlio 11tries and to make their show as popular as possible, liavo made a number of alterations, in tho schedule for their forthcoming show, and a list of these, together with a list of the special prissrs. uatt 1 Deeii supplied to us i,ksecretary, Mr R. J,. Orbell. The following are the alterations to last year's schedule. A reserro champion ticket will be issued *lll all elinm- v pionship classes. In cattle a class lias iiiJfliHi tor Altierney yearling bull and heifer and two classes for Holstein cattle. The class for milking cow (the prize to bo awarded on milk test) has been struck out, and in lieu thereof a class for ''dairy cow any breed" iuserted. The prizes in all lnt cattle classes have been increased to oOs Ist and 2-5s 2nd. In light liorses the hackney classes open only to fjuw crs owning less tiian iOUO acres freehold liavo been struck out and two maklon classes inserted "nstead, open only to horses which have not- won a Ist or 2ml prize at any sl»ow. The class for journey horse is struck out. The class lor tradesman's turnout has been divided into two classes, one lor work up to 10 cwfc and one lor work up to iiU el. Several audittonal classes are inserted for ponies to that the smaller ponies will not have to compete againstthe larger ones and a-special prize is offered by Mr H. El worthy for the best turned out pony (rider and gear to be taken into consideration). A class for |iolo ponies lias been inserted. A few additional classes have been added to hlieop, and in. produce the following new classes have been inserted: —Loar ■•-•■ije-iiiiiue t»ro«vme, six home-made wonts (girdle baked,), plate of oat cake, fruit cake not less than two lbs, marble cake not less than, lib, spongo cake, tbree glass pots home-made jam, three glass pots home made jelly. In addition to ordinary prizes ior these cookery classes the President, Mr R. H.
