GOLF.
The match which was to be played at Teruuka on Saturday was postponed for a week on account of the weather. The Ashburtoii team which was to hare visited Timaru on Thursday next is unable to come down. It- is hoped that a match will be arranged later in the season. In the final of the senior championship Barker beat Marshall 7 up and G to play over 36 holes. jJarshall tiling to his opponent for the first nine holes, but Barker played excellent golf in the second nine and was 5 uy at the 18th hole, after this Marshall was unable to reduce the lead. The final of the junior championship between Seymour and Temnler will be plaved on Thursday, as will also the final of the BoweCuo between Miss N. Har and Marshall and Mrs McLaren and Tasker. In the final of the Terry Cup againct hoger C. A. Sevmour »on with a score of 3"no (handicap 7) by holing out on the 18th green with an eight yard putt. P. Wriphfc brought in the next score with 2 up.
