FIRES.
LARGE HOUSE DESTROYED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 29. A large- two-storey house in Kent Terrace, occupied as a, boarding-house by Mrs YYadtlell was destroyed by fire on Saturday evening. The adjoining house which is next to the Kent lerrace Presbvterian Church was also damaged. No insurances are ascertainable.
