Following on after lunch. Carter after a fluky innings, was caught at mid-off from a skyer at 37. He gave a chance to Reeves off Jayes at one, and off a return to Buckenham at 27. —1-for 40. The second wicket (Hartigan's) went at 5!?. Macalister and Ransford carried the total to 103, when Ransford went. Four for 13S. Macalister and Truroper became partnered, and were still together at the tea adjournment, the board showing 4 for 208. On resuming, Macalister at S5 was bowled by Douglas.
