Mr W. Black left Timaru for Chrisfccliurch by the second express yesterday afternoon.
Sir Albert Spicer, President of the Congress of Chambers of Commerce of the Empire, arrived at Perth vesterdav.
Mr Edgar Randal, organist and choirmaster of Trinity Church, has been appointed organist of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church at Oamaru. Mr Randal has established a reputation in Timaru as an able musician, and the Oamaru people arc to bo congratulated upon securing his services.
