SYDNEY", August 13. Two members of the Tasmania!) Parliament interviewed the Minister of Agriculture to-day with a view to induce him to withhold the prohibition of Tasmania)) potatoes. Subsequently a proclamation was issued prohibiting the importation oi' Tasmanian and Queens-land potatoes.
1 A conference of State Ministers of Agriculture will h;' held in Melbourne next week, whereat the potato disease and the prohibition question will be discussed. A statement was made that potatoes infected with blight bad reached Sydney from the western districts.
