Tin l r.diourued inquest concerning tin' death "of Frederick Clark, tlio .sailor who whs drowned when the scow Flora foundered in Auckland harbour recently, was brought to a close this afternoon. The jury returned a verdict that ihe master of the- Flora was responsible for (he deceased's death in ieaving Forstor's Hay with 100 much cargo on board, and not throwing more shingle overboard when he found that she was 100 deeply laden.
