PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

At the annual meeting of the congregation of' the Presbyterian Church at Pleasant Point, the Hev. G. King presided over a good number of his rioek. The reports from the session, managers, Bible classes, Sunday schools, and Hand of Hope, were " read, and considered highly satisfactory. Votes of thanks were passed to Messrs -). Mazo and H. McLeery for their services as treasurer and secretary respectively. A vote of thanks was passed to the teacher in the Sunday school, and to the leaders of the Bible classes.

.Mr King, in his address to the congregation, thanked them for the welcome given to him :\n<\ to his wile, and expressed the hope that his labours anions them illicit be fruitful. .Mr T. Chapman was apjioiiited a niember of the committee. A discussion took place on a pro-: posal to erect a new church, and it was decided that the time had arrived for this: that steps be taken to form a buildinir fund, and that plans and estimates be prepared, these to be submitted to a meeting of the congregation.
