In the game played hy Rawhiti at ■Oamaru yesterday, against North Otago, Rawhiti won hy one goal.

Wimmera v. Ruahine 13. —This match was played fit Temnka. The ground was a perfect quagmire and hockey was out of the question. After a good friendly game the .Wimmera proved victorious hy 4 goals scored hy E Dohier 3, and L*. Hurdley 1 to nil.

To Rang! v. Ruahine A. —This match was won by Ruahine.

Avoea A journeyed to Waimate yesterday by the 11 a.m. express and played a match against the St. Patrick Club there. The game was a very good one, the Waimate girls showing splendid form for a new team. The game resulted in a win for Avoca by ") goals to nil. Miss N. Sullivan shot four goals, and Miss C Dunn, one. The visitors were hospitably entertained, first at lunch at the Royal Hotel, by Mrs Craighead, and later by the local team, at afternoon tea. Te Rangi met Temuka B on Russell Square yesterday, when the former won a 1 airly interesting game by six goals to one. Though Temuka team played three men short, they put up a splendid fight, and towards the end of the second spell more than held their own. The game was played in a very friendly spirit, and Mr Grange, as referee, gave every satisfaction. For Te Rangi goals were scored by Gabites (4) and Mason (2), and for Temuka Whitehead scored.

The Tiniitru Hockey .Club (men's) journeyed to Oamaru yesterday, and played a friendly game with the home team on th;> Show grounds. A fair number of spectators watched the game, which was very interesting. Tlie first spell was a 'fairly even one., but in the second spell Tiinaru had all the best of it, and when time was called, had scored five goals to their opponents' two. For the Tiinaru Club goals were scored by Chappel (2), (I. Dobier, Signal, and Palliser one each. On resuming Temuka attacked strongly and carried the ball to Geraldine's circle where Metson missed through bad shooting. In addition to the abovenamed players, Reeve, and Davies for Temuka and V.
