A GREAT STRIKE. Pros Association-By Telegraph-Copyright Received 8.35 p.m., July 14th. LONDON, July 14. Eighty thousand Scottish miners strike on July 26th. ENFORCEMENT CASES. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 14. Several enforcement cases were heard at the Magistrate Court to-day. Hugh Roberts, F. Blogg, and Geo. Simpson, builders, for failing to givepreference were fined 20s, £3 and £4 respectively. James Maxwell for employing a driver under 18 years was fined £4. J. Schumacher for employing a carter in a bakehouse was fined - £2, and Shannan and Sons for employing too many apprentices were fined£2. -
