THE LAW SOCIETY.
SOLICITORS FULLY CLEARED
Per Press Association,
DUNEDIN, June 29. The petition by the Law Society to the Supreme Court to exercise disciplinary jurisdiction in regard to Aloore and Aloore, solicitors, in respect to Poyntz's case, was dismissed with costs. His Honour said that one charge of the Law Society which had been proved untrue was that the defendants misap-propriated-moneys received, and the suggestion that they had battened upon provision made for their client was absolutely untrue. His Honour hoped this would receive as wide a publicity as the original charges.
