SYDNEY, June 28. The river At Albury, after rising 17 feet, has commenced to fall. Reports from other centres show that the worst is past, and the rivers-w are falling, though there is still an. immense quantity of flood water coming down. A vast number of rabbits have been : drowned. DAMAGE IN VICTORIA. MELBOURNE, June 28. The floods have 'commenced to recede. At Seymour the river broke ils banks and covered the flats for a width of. two miles. The Chinese gardeners suffered severely.
Yarrawonga, Tallangatta, Wodonga, aiul other places are surrounded hy the flood, waters, and many people have removed to places of safety. The damage is confined ohielly to fencing, roads, bridges, and other properly.
