It enumerates the number, of prisoners, executions, and suicides in gaol, and asks: "Did Abdul Ha mid ever do worse?" It hopes that the country's voice will'lie dolinile. and emphatic in eoiidemnation of the. Government responsible for the visit. Many newspapers condemn, the insulting and offensive manifesto at a moment when Anglo-Russian relations have improved.
