POINT SALE. The ordinary fortnightly sale was held at the Point yards yesterday. The yarding and likewise the attendance was small. About 1800 sheep were -penned, made up principally of fats and store wethers. Although the attendance of buyers was small, competition was good, and every lot offered found a buver. Fat wethers sold at 14s 3d to 15s 4d, fat ewes 8s 6d, 9s, 10s 6d, 10s 7d to .0s 9d. fat lamhs 12s, IS Id, 12s 6d, 12s 9d, 12s lOd to 13s, store lambs 9s, 9s lOd to 10s 6d; a line of store wethers off tnssock sold at 9s. Cattle. yarded, composed chiefly of well-bred station cattle. Prices ruled as follows: —Fat steers -*» nd heifers to £7 10s, fat cows to £6 ss, young cattle £2 10s to £4 os, springers £3 10s to £6.
