CHURCH CLAIMS REJECTED. Tress Association-By Telegraph-Copyright Received 9.50 p.m.. May 31st. PRETORIA, -May 31. Mr Botha and Mr J. C. Smuts secured at the Hetvolk Congress the rejection of the reactionary demands on behalf of the Dutch Church, which was seeking to regain control of schools also attempting to require the bilingual qualification fof all officials in view of their superseding British officials. Mr J. H. Hoffnieyer has been invited to join the deputation which is conveying the South African draft constitution to London.
