PROPERTY SALE. • Leslie O'Callaghan and Co. report haying sold Mr James Butler's suourHan property. Otipua road, consisting of',2.}* acres, with dwelling of 6 rooms. This property was passed in at auction om Saturday, but was purchased yesterday morning. The clearing sale takes place to-morrow at 2 o'clock.

POINT SALE

The regular fortnightly sale was held at the Point yards yesterday, when about 9000 sheep and 23 head oi cattle -were yarded. Fat sheep of all classes • were well competed for, iiud sold at prices well up to late values. The sale in store sheep was very dragging, but for all that almost every lot found a buyer. The following artsome of the realised prices:—Fat lambs, 12s 4d. 13s 3d, 13s od. 13s 6d. 33s 7d. 13s 9d,13s lOd to 16s i'or extra heavy: fat wethers. 13? 4d. 13s lOd to 13s 1 Id; fat ewes. Ss, as 3d. Ss 6d. 9* Id, 9s 9d. 30s. 10s 3d to 30s 4d: forward lambs. 10s. 10s od to 10s lid: stores. 7s. 7s 6d, 8s 3d to 9s 2d: store wethers. ' lis lid ,to 13s; six-tooth ewes, lis 8d to lis 10d; two, four, six and eight-tooth ewes to 13s lOd. Cattle. of-which there was a small mixed entry, sold at full values.
