STABBING CASE.
LIFE IN DANCER. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 28. Peter Williamson Tait was arrested to-night in Cambridge Terrace, on a charge of stabbing a man named David McColl. It is said that the men were, in a boardinghouse in Cambridge Terrace, and a quarrel took place, ending in Tait drawing a pocketknife and stabbing McColl seven or eight times in the face and body. A doctor * ordered Mc-Coll's immediate removal to the hospital, where it was found that his condition was so serious that the doctor would not allow him to make any statement regarding the occurrence.
