GERALDINE LIVE STOCK MARKET " The 'usual fortnightly sale was held ax the above-yards yesterday. The yarding was a Jjairly large one, and made up principally of wethers and lamhs. In fats there was good competition, but we cannot report any change in prices. Store stock of all classes met witli fair enquiry, and the realised prices were, if anything. a little better than thus?'obtained at last bale. Sheep.—The entry of store sheep was not a large one. hut the sheep were of better class than those offered .at late sales. Every lot changed hands at rates fully equal to those- of last week. Forward wethers made lis 9d. two and four-tooth ewes of medium duality 14s. and sound-mouth owes I4s 6dl. forward lambs of mixed sexes 10s fid to 1 is. and smaller 6s 9d : to Ss 9d. For fat lambs there was active competition among the export buyers, and a clearance was effected at prices that showed a further rise .'of 3d per head.
