A West Coast message states that Lhe Hon. James Holmes and the Hon. James Marshall have been reappointed members of the Legislative Council. MrA. Wagstaff, of Tiraaru, will be a passenger for Loudon by the Krmutaka, which leaves Wellington on June 3rd. Mr Wagstaff intends to make a holiday visit extending • over several months to England and Scotland. _ London cable messages to hand last night state that the Royal Scottish Geographical Society has awarded Lieutenant Shackleton of the rwmrod Antarctic expedition the Livingstone gold medal; and that the llev.
