' Per Press Association. CmiISTCHURCH, May 11. Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., left Christcliurch for Hanmer to-day to hold an enquiry into the discipline maintained at the prison camp. Mr Kensington, Under-Secretary for Lands, and Mr E. C. Goldsmith, Commissioner •of Lauds for Canterbury, went to Hanmer to-day to report on the progress of the plantations. It is understood that the future of the work and whether the plantations shall be extended or not will depend on the report of the officers mentioned.
