TWO MEN ARRESTED

CHRISTCHUR CH, May 8. On Thursday night,' Sacc.h Falloon, living in Creyke street,. Lin wood, > was the victim of a serious assault. Two men went to her houpe and accused her of being a poliee> spy..- After words one man took. n ; kettle and hit the woman on tlio liead, while the other one knocked her ,down r with a, flat iron: The two men then jumped oi) the woman; then' finding -a gun in the house, they loaded it and . fired at the woman, but missed her, the shot entering the-wall.-They then left her.
