- l'cr l'rcsu Association, AUCKLAND, April 29. A sudden death occurred at the Kingslaud railway station this morning. Mr and • Mrs Joo Levet, residents of J-I'otoo North, who had been in town on a short •> isit," were returning homo and were about to get on tho outward, bound traiii when Mr Levet dropped on tho platform and expired almost immediately. He was about 56 years of ago. A girl named Elizabeth Greenwood died to-day under peculiar circumstances at Panmure. The deceased, who was tinder fixteen years of ago, was a witness in a ease against a man nanied Frank Tate, who is to come up for trial on a charge of having had improper relations with her while she was under aire. A constable received a message this morning to tho effect that tho girl bad been suddenly taken ill and on visiting her lie found her in a very low state. Tho constable at once summoned medical :iid but the girl died within ten minutes.of T)r Barber's arrival. It is stated'that tlie girl told an acquaintance that she intended taking "Hough on T?ats" but no heed was paid to tlio threat. ' . •
