SHERWOOD'S PICTURES
Tliere was a good attendance at the Theatre last night to witness the last performance of this week's change. Everything went off with a swing, auci the pictures with the new patent lenses were a big improvement. On Monday next Professor Sherwood will reopen" the Theatre with an entirely new programme of all the latest films; llie manager is keeping his word, and tieserves every patronage. Owing to Mr West requiring the Theatre to exhibit "The Ited Hand" picture, Professor Sherwood's company will appear at Oamaru', where they are.sure, with the reputation they have attained in Timaru, to do big business. He has a monster programme in store for the opening on Monday next, when fessor Sherwood's competitions will also start. In thanking the public of Timaru, he hopes that the reopening will meet with the support accorded him since his opening, and that he \\ ill get a good reception on his reopening night. The box plan for Monday will open while the company is in Oamaru; seats can be reserved at Mr Kingston's.
