STUART—In sad but loving memory of mv dear mother, who died at Timaru on March 26th, 1908. Sleep on beloved. How sad to see the empty chair, And miss the face I loved so well. My loss seems very hard to bear; Yes, harder than my tongue can tell. But all the tears my eyes can shed, , not my loved one's life restore.
