The TCev. Thomas Fee, who was", elected president of the conference, was born in Ireland in 1850. After a brief experience in business he entered the teaching profession and taught for some years iii Ireland,"lie came out to New Zealand in., 1873, and carried on lor .a" time his profession as teacher until he was called to the ministry. He was trained for his new '.work at the Methodist Institute, Three Kings, Auckland. Since then he. has laboured in the ministy. Last year ho devoted •himself to the no license movement.
