Yesterday a Press Association telegram;' was published to the effect that the Floitrmillers' Association had decided to reduce the price, of flour by £1 per ton, so as to meet the, importation of flour from Australia, and also because the increased quantity of new wheat now on < offer. has enabled the millers to 'buy' on slightly better terms.. A reporter called upon the . Timaru manager of the New Zealand Flourmillers' Association to verify the telegram, but the pressman was informed that no. information pf any sort -could be given.
