getting a verdict for £SO. DIVORCE CASES. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 20. At the Supreme Court to-day divorce decrees were granted as under":—Henry Albert Nickolls v. Annie Nickolls, for misconduct; Theresa Chisnall v. i Thomas Francis Chisnall, for desertion; Irene Conway v. Jas. Conway for misconduct. In the ease of Nana Garland v. Mathew McGurr Garland, desertion, decision was reserved, and the petition was dismissed in the case of Elizabeth Dogherty v. John Dogliertv, desertion. A MURDER TRIAL. In connection with the Westport murder trial, which is down for hearing at Hokitika on March lltli, Mr J. A. Cassidy of this city, will apply before Mr Justice Denniston for a change of venue to Christchurch, on the ground that the accused Connolly would not receive a fair trial at Hokitka.
