OAMARU DREDGE LOAN.
POLL DECLARED INVALID

OAMARU, Feb. 18. The Stipendiary Magistrate (Mr Hutchison) gave, judgment to-day voiding the late poll on the proposal.to borrow £50,000 for. the new harbour dredge, on the ground that the poll was taken upon an invalid roll, which excluded more than half the electors from the right to vote. ■ Costs for five guineas were given against the respondents.
