News from Noumea states that duiiug the late cyclone, the Nickel Company's aerial transporter at Tcliio, recently erected at a cost of 4,000,000 francs, was deniolishcel; anel that tho maize and coffee' crops were greatly damaged by the heavy rains. ~ ATTEMPTED OUTRAGE. - An attempt which was made to dynamite the boiler in the pumping house of the Proprietary mine did little damage. . -
