Among Timaru people who intend to leave shortly on a trip to England, are Mr, Mrs and Miss Grant, of Wai-iti road, Mr and Mrs K. McLennan, of Otipua road, and Mr and Mrs Costello. Mr and Mrs S. F. Smithson will return to Timaru from England this week. The maid referred to in the list of passengers on the Penguin, as ''Mrs Symons and maid," is Miss Jessie Rennie, whose parents reside at Winches; ter, and who has relatives and friends in Timaru, Mr Andrew Rennie, of Maori Hill, being her brother, and Mrs D. Guthrie, her sister.
