EXAMINATION RESULTS.

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS. The secretary to the Education Board on Saturday received from Wellington the; results. of the examination on which the Board's senior scholarships will be allotted. There were 31 candidates in this district, of whom 27 "qualified" by gaining more than 50 per cent, of the total of 1600 marks, three failed, and one was absent from the examination.
