CHRISTCHLRCH, Jan. 2.1. Another instalment of une woatner greeted the fourth day of the ciiampionship bowling tournament, when ine various competitions were advanced a further stage. The following are the results:—

Mr E. T. Chapman now holds pride of place in this competition.
In the third round of the doubles handicap, F. A. Joynt and E. Brown (6) defeated "\V. F. Evans and Geo. Leveus (3), by 24 to 23. The concluding fixtures were to be played yesterday afternoon.
