At the Eiverton Hospital on AYednesday evening, Nurse bhanks, who is severing her connection with the institution to take up the position of matron in the AVaimate Hospital, was presented with a handsome silver afternoon tea service from the patients. His Excellency the Governor passed through Timaru by the first express yesterdav, bound for Dunedin, where, as Grand Master of the Masonic Order, he is to lay the foundation stone of the Haeremai Lodge this afternoon.
