ATHLETICS
Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Jan. 18. In view of the fact that, last year's conference at New Plymouth agreed to leave the dispute with the Wanganui Caledonian Society in the hands of the Taranaki and Feilding centres and both centres having strongly recommended that competitors be allowed to compete at Wanganui this year, also in consideration of the fact that entries had closed for the Wanganui. meeting before the executive had issued its manifesto the New Zealand Athletic Union has agreed to accede to the recommendations of Taranaki and Feilding and there will be no disqualfiications at the Wanganui games this year.
